Ambulance called to crash on TX-183 EB near Loop 12

IRVING, TX – Several emergency vehicles responded to a major accident along the highway in northeast Irving on Thursday morning, reports KRLD Traffic.

The crash happened sometime before 7:07 a.m. on the eastbound side of TX-183 just before Loop 12, which is just south of the University of Dallas.

Police haven’t yet shared any details about the collision except to clarify that it blocked the right two lanes of traffic while crews worked to clear the scene.

Video footage indicates the accident may have involved two or three vehicles. At least one ambulance reported to the scene along with firefighters and police.
