Teen boy hospitalized after electric scooter cash at Baltimore and Turtle Creek

DALLAS, TX – A crash involving an electric scooter and a vehicle sent a teenager to the hospital in Dallas on Sunday evening, reports Fox 4 KDFW.

The accident occurred around 7 p.m. at the intersection of Baltimore Avenue and Turtle Creek Boulevard, which is just southwest of Holmes Aquatic Center and northeast of Goar Park.

Police say the 14-year-old boy, who was wearing a helmet, crashed into a vehicle with his electric scooter while attempting to turn from Baltimore onto Turtle Creek.

Medics transported the teen to an area hospital with critical injuries.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was not hurt in the collision and did stop to render aid.

A full investigation is underway.
