Injuries likely in multi-vehicle crash on FM 730 near Pearson Ranch Rd

PARKER CO., TX – Two ambulances responded to the scene of a a major accident along FM 730 between Weatherford and Azle on Wednesday, reports DFW Scanner.

The crash occurred sometime before 5:41 p.m. near the intersection with Pearson Ranch Road, which is just northeast of Dicey.

Police haven’t yet commented on the cause of the collision, which they say involved at least two vehicles. One person became entrapped in the wreckage and required extrication. Injuries are likely, though details are limited at this time. The two vehicles observed at the scene sustained heavy damage.

Officials urged drivers to avoid the 6300 block of FM 730 South while EMS responded along with Engine 54 and police to perform extrication measures and clear the scene.
