Ejection crash involving ATV, sedan on TX-21 EB near Midway kills 1
MADISON CO., TX – A 65-year-old man died last Tuesday when his all-terrain vehicle collided with a sedan along the highway in central northeast Madison County, reports The Madisonville Meteor.
The accident happened around 9:50 a.m. near the intersection of TX-21 East and Northside Lane between Midway and Antioch. This is about 95 miles northwest of Houston.
Police say that an eastbound 2022 Toyota Corolla collided with a 2014 Kubota ATV when the driver of the latter vehicle failed to check for oncoming traffic while exiting a private drive onto TX-21.
The impact of the crash ejected the driver of the ATV, whom authorities have identified as Michael Farris of Midway. Farris died at the scene of the accident.
No other injuries have been reported in connection to the wreck.
A full investigation is underway.
