D Aundre Kahlil Malik Laffoon killed in El Paso crash

EL PASO, TX – A 27-year-old man died earlier this month in a multi-vehicle collision along TX-375 on the southeast side of El Paso, reports KFOX 14.

The incident occurred around 4 a.m. on Wednesday, January 1st, near Vista Del Sol Drive. This is just southeast of El Paso County Sportspark.

Police say that the driver of a Volkswagen was likely speeding when he rear-ended a 2023 Lexus. The Volkswagen continued to travel and ultimately overturned along the highway after ejecting the driver. A northbound Hyundai Santa Fe then struck the ejected driver of the Volkswagen along Joe Battle Boulevard.

The driver of the Volkswagen, identified as D Aundre Kahlil Malik Laffoon, sustained fatal injuries.

It’s unclear if anyone else involved in the accident was hurt.

A full investigation is underway.
