Alenxia Jutta Breshon Martin killed in Bell Co. train crash

BELL CO., TX – A 33-year-old Temple woman sustained fatal injuries this past Saturday in a train accident near Highway 190 in western Bell County, reports KWTX 10.

The accident occurred at night in Fort Cavazos, north of the intersection of TX-190 and Venable Drive and along the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad (BNSF) tracks. This is about five miles northwest of Killeen.

Police say that Alenxia Jutta Breshon Martin was struck by a BNSF train and died after transport to an area hospital.

It’s not yet clear why Alenxia may have been walking or standing near the tracks when the crash happened.

Nobody on the train sustained injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
