Patricia Haggard, 63, killed in auto-ped crash on SW Military
SAN ANTONIO, TX – A 63-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries Friday night when a vehicle struck her in south-central San Antonio, reports KSAT News 12.
The accident happened shortly before 8:30 p.m. on Southwest Military Drive near Burton Avenue. This is just east of I-35 and west of Military Plaza in the Harlandale area.
Police say that Patricia Ann Haggard was crossing Southwest Military Drive outside of a designated crosswalk or pedestrian area when a westbound 995 BMW 74A hit her.
Haggard succumbed to her injuries not long after transport to an area hospital.
No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the accident, and there’s no word yet regarding charges.
