Patricia Browning, 71, killed in two-car crash in Bexar Co.
SAN ANTONIO, TX – A 71-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash along a major roadway in northwest San Antonio, reports KSAT 12.
The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. on the westbound side of Alamo Ranch Parkway near Lone Star Parkway. This is just east of HEB and west of Landon Ridge Alamo Ranch Assisted Living and Memory Care.
Police haven’t yet disclosed the cause of the accident or the manner in which the two vehicles impacted.
Video footage taken at the scene indicates that one vehicle may have overturned during the wreck.
Medics performed CPR on one victim at the scene. That person, who has since been identified as Patricia Browning, ultimately succumbed to her injuries.
There’s no word regarding additional injuries.
Officials closed Alamo Ranch Parkway in the area of the collision while emergency teams worked at the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
