Hit-and-run driver strikes, kills Cassandra Hernandez, 27

WESLACO, TX – A woman died early Sunday morning after a vehicle struck her along a major roadway in southeast Hidalgo County, reports ValleyCentral News.

The auto-pedestrian accident occurred on the southbound side of Mile 4 West Road north of Mile 12 1/2 Road North on the far north side of Weslaco. This is about 18 miles southeast of McAllen.
