Rondarias Williams, 28, claimed in Houston dirt bike crash
HOUSTON, TX – A 28-year-old man died Saturday night in a collision involving a dirt bike and two vehicles in northwest Houston, reports My Texas Daily.
The multi-vehicle crash occurred shortly after 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Gears Road and Greens Parkway, which is north of Sam Houston Tollway and the Greens Bayou.
Police say that an eastbound Kawasaki dirt bike struck a westbound black Ford F150 when the driver of the pickup truck made a left turn onto Greens Parkway. The impact of the initial collision ejected the dirt bike operator, throwing him into an SUV.
The dirt bike operator, identified as Rondarias Williams, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
An investigation into the cause of the crash indicates that Williams failed to stop for the red light at the intersection before colliding with the Ford.
Neither of the other drivers sustained injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
