UPDATE: 10 buckets of liquid meth found in van after fatal crash at Delga Park
FORT WORTH, TX – Fort Worth confirmed the chemical found in a van after a fatal crash on Thursday was ten buckets of liquid meth, according to a Fox4 update.
Fort Worth Police said all ten buckets, which tested positive for liquid methamphetamine, weighed nearly 500 pounds and had a street value of $1 million to $3 million.
The incident unfolded around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday when one driver crashed into a parked car at Delga Park.
One man died from his injuries at the scene, and another man died on the way to a hospital in an ambulance.
A firefighter was later sent to the hospital with a possible exposure to the chemical.
DEA agents will analyze and dispose of the drugs and will continue to determine the cause of the collision.
Police have not yet released the men’ s names.
