Dallas fire crews close majority of I35 East due to fiery vehicle crash

DALLAS, TX – Dallas fire crews shut down a major portion of Interstate 35 East along Ewing Avenue due to a Tuesday morning fiery vehicle crash.

Dallas firefighters told WFAA that one vehicle caught on fire after colliding with several others on the interstate. The crash happened before 5 a.m., and closures immediately followed so fire crews could extinguish the fire, and crews would clean up debris from the crash and render aid to the involved occupants.

Officials have not reported any citations and are actively working to determine the events leading to the collision.
