Semi-truck strikes, injures cyclist on Saginaw Blvd near Avondale-Haslet
FORT WORTH, TX – Medics transported a bicyclist to the hospital last Friday morning after an 18-wheeler struck him along a busy roadway in north Fort Worth.
According to Aol., the incident happened just before 5 a.m. in the area of 13000 Saginaw Boulevard, which is just south of Highway 81 and Avondale-Haslet Road.
The investigation thus far indicates that the male cyclist was riding his bike on Saginaw Boulevard when the tractor-trailer hit him. It’s unclear at this time what might have caused the truck to hit the bicycle.
The victim went to the hospital with critical injuries.
