Solo crash on Pierce at Stagecoach kills 2 Red Oak teenagers

RED OAK, TX – A 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old girl died last Thursday after their vehicle crashed along a major roadway in Red Oak, reports WFAA News 8.

The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. on the eastbound side of Pierce Road near Stagecoach Drive, which is just west of the Red Oak Fire Station No. 2 and Peaceful Valley Donkey Adoption.

The investigation indicates that the cousins were riding east on Pierce Road in a 2006 Nissan Maxima when the vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a metal fence, killing both unrestrained teens.

Police suspect that speed may have been a factor in the accident.

The investigation is ongoing.
