2-vehicle crash at War Arrow and Edgemere in E El Paso kills 1

EL PASO, TX – One person died, and at least one other was hurt last Sunday in a two-vehicle crash along a busy roadway in east-central El Paso, reports KFox 14.

The incident occurred just before 2:45 a.m. at the intersection of War Arrow Place and Edgemere Boulevard, which is south of US-62 and northeast of JM Hanks Middle School.

Police say that a 2012 white Ford Mustang and a 2000 white Ford F150 pickup truck collided when the driver of the former vehicle neglected to yield right of way while turning from War Arrow onto Edgemere.

The driver of the Mustang, identified as 24-year-old Israel Josaiah, died after transport to an area hospital.

Medics transported a passenger from the Mustang to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.

It’s unclear if the driver of the pickup truck sustained injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
