Carlton Lee claimed in crash with tanker on TX-6 in Waco

WACO, TX – A major accident involving a passenger vehicle and a tanker truck killed a Bryan man on Tuesday evening in Waco, reports KCENTV 6.

The collision occurred around 5 p.m. on the southbound side of State Highway 6 near State Loop 340, which is on the far east side of the city.

Police say that for unknown reasons, 42-year-old Carlton Lee crashed his southbound Dodge Ram into the back of a tanker truck. The truck was stopped along the shoulder of the highway.

Lee succumbed to his injuries after transport to an area hospital.

No other injuries have been reported in connection to the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
