Kenneth Jackson, 40, killed in Collin County pedestrian crash
ALLEN, TX – A 40-year-old man died last week when a vehicle struck him along a major roadway in northeast Allen, reports Fox 4 KDFW.
The Allen pedestrian crash occurred Friday night near 700 Stacy Road, which is just north of Greenville Heights Park in the Wetsel neighborhood.
Police say that an eastbound SUV struck a male pedestrian as he was crossing Stacy Road.
The pedestrian, later identified as Kenneth Jackson of Melissa, died after resuscitation efforts at the scene and transport to an area hospital.
The driver of the SUV stopped to render aid and speak with authorities.
No charges have been referenced thus far.
A full investigation is underway.
