Brytni Elliott killed in head-on collision along Boat Club Rd

FORT WORTH, TX – A woman died, and two people were injured last Sunday in a wrong-way crash along a major roadway in northwest Fort Worth, reports Fox 4 KDFW.

The accident occurred shortly after 12 a.m. on Boat Club Road between Pinionpark Way and Granite Creek Drive in the Bowman Estates area.

Police say that the driver of a southbound Dodge Ram was likely intoxicated when he entered the northbound side of Boat Club Road and collided head on with a northbound Ford Expedition.

The driver of the Expedition, identified as Brytni Elliott, succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash.

Medics transported an adult male passenger, later identified as Spencer Elliott, and a 12-year-old girl to area hospitals with serious injuries. Spencer Elliott, police say, is Brytni Elliott’s husband and a baseball coach for Keller ISD.

The wrong-way driver also went to the hospital with injuries; upon release, he faces charges that include intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault.

A full investigation is underway.
