Sally Stewart killed in pedestrian crash on N Bryant in San Angelo
SAN ANGELO, TX – A 60-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries Wednesday night when a vehicle struck her along a busy roadway in north-central Tom Green County, reports San Angelo Live.
Around 8 p.m., emergency crews responded to North Bryant Avenue between West 19th Street and West 23rd Street in San Angelo, which is around two hours southeast of Midland.
Police say that it was dark when a vehicle struck a pedestrian walking in an active lane of travel on North Bryant Avenue.
The pedestrian, identified as Sally Stewart, died after transport to an area hospital.
The driver involved in the collision stopped to render aid and to speak with authorities.
No charges are pending at this time.
A full investigation is underway.
