Aleasa Ogle fatally injured in wrong-way crash near San Angelo

TOM GREEN CO., TX – An Eden woman died Wednesday in a two-vehicle collision along the highway in central Tom Green County, reports Concho Valley Homepage.

The accident occurred shortly before 9:30 p.m. on US-87 between San Angelo and Wall. This is near the intersection with TX-306.

Police say that for unknown reasons, a westbound 2022 GMC Canyon pickup entered the eastbound side of US-87 and collided head-on with an eastbound 2022 Nissan Rogue.

The driver of the Nissan, identified as 51-year-old Aleasa Ogle, succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash.

Medics transported the 26-year-old driver of the pickup truck to an area hospital with incapacitating injuries that are non-life-threatening.

No charges have been announced thus far.

A full investigation is underway.
