Flatbed rollover crash in Lumberton claims Terry Bellard, 62

LUMBERTON, TX – A 62-year-old man died Thursday morning in a single-vehicle crash in southeast Hardin County, reports 12 News Now.

The accident happened shortly after 10:30 a.m. in the city of Lumberton, about 15 miles northwest of Beaumont. Police haven’t yet provided the exact location of the crash.

The preliminary investigation indicates that Terry Bellard of Beaumont lost control of a flatbed truck on the north side of Beaumont, causing the vehicle to overturn. Bellard became entrapped and ultimately sustained fatal injuries in the wreck.

No other injuries have been reported in connection to the crash.
