1 hospitalized following traffic collision in SW Arlington  

SOUTHWEST ARLINGTON, TX –  One person was hospitalized following a traffic collision in Southwest Arlington on Thursday, NBCDFW reports. 

Arlington Police said the incident unfolded around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 287 and Little Road. The events leading to the crash remain unclear, but police did say that one person was ejected from their vehicle. 

The ejected person suffered serious injuries as a result and was sent to the emergency room for treatment. Police did not confirm whether that occupant was a driver or passenger, nor did they provide an update on their current physical condition. 

Police closed northbound U.S. 287 for a few hours before reopening the area just before 5 p.m.
