Al-Nasir Jinnah, 69, fatally struck by truck in Plano
PLANO, TX – A 69-year-old man, identified as Plano local Al-Nasir Jinnah, lost his life as a result of a pedestrian-truck collision on Friday.
Fox4News said the incident unfolded when Jinnah was crossing the intersection of Alma Drive and Seabrook Avenue when he was struck by a gray Toyota Tundra truck.
Jinnah was initially in serious condition, but succumbed to his injuries a short time later, police and fire crews said.
Police said the truck driver was traveling north on Alma when he struck Jinnah. They do not believe the motorist was speeding or impaired and did not say whether they remained at the scene or could face charges.
