Grand Prairie crash involving semi on I-30 WB at MacArthur Blvd blocks traffic

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX – A collision during rush hour along the interstate in Grand Prairie slowed traffic on Friday as crews worked at the scene, reports KRLD Traffic .

The incident happened sometime before 7:12 a.m. on the westbound side of I-30 at MacArthur Boulevard, which is just southeast of Lone Star Park and Texas Trust CU Theatre.

Police have not shared any details about the accident except to say that it blocked the left lane of traffic on I-30 westbound while crews investigated and cleared the crash site.

Photos taken at the scene suggest that the accident likely involved an 18-wheeler along with one or two other vehicles.

There’s no word yet on injuries.
