Motorcycle crash on Hwy 114 near Championship Pkwy kills 1

FORT WORTH, TX – Crews responded Tuesday night to a fatality collision involving a motorcycle along a highway in north Forth Worth, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened around 9:14 p.m. on Highway 114 near Championship Parkway, which is just south of the Texas Motor Speedway near Elizabethtown.

The cause and circumstances of the accident remain under investigation. It’s unclear if any vehicles aside from the motorcycle were involved in the collision.

Police say that one person died at the scene of the accident. Authorities have not yet released their identity.

Officials encouraged drivers to avoid the area while crews worked to investigate and clear the wreckage.
