Tyler PD investigates pedestrian crash at N Beckham and Locust

TYLER, TX – Emergency crews responded to the scene of an early evening pedestrian accident near downtown Tyler on Wednesday, reports CBS 19.

The incident happened around 5:55 p.m. at the intersection of North Beckham Road and East Locust Street, which is just south of La Michoacana Meat Market.

Authorities have not yet reported on injuries or fatalities, nor have they clarified whether the driver of the vehicle involved in the crash remained at the scene.

Drivers likely experienced delays during rush hour in the area of this intersection while teams gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene.

A full investigation is underway. Our team of accident bloggers will return with updates if we learn more regarding the victim’s identity or the circumstances of the collision.
