Crash involving semi on I-35E NB at E 8th blocks traffic

DALLAS, TX – Crews responded to the scene of a two-vehicle collision involving an 18-wheeler along the interstate in Oak Cliff on Wednesday, reports KRLD Traffic.

The incident happened just before 8:41 a.m. on the northbound side of I-35E at East 8th Street, which is just west of Oak Cliff Cemetery and northeast of Hector P. Garcia Middle School.

Police haven’t yet commented on the circumstances of the accident. Video footage taken at the scene indicates that the crash likely involved a dark-colored sedan and a semi hauling building materials. The sedan appears to have rear-ended the semi-truck.

There’s no word yet regarding injuries. The collision blocked the two center lanes of traffic on I-35E northbound while crews worked at the scene.
