Crash on I-30WB before Oakland Blvd forces lane closures

FORT WORTH, TX – Officials were forced to closed lanes of the interstate in east Fort Worth on Friday morning after an accident, reports KRLD Traffic.

The incident happened before 6:55 a.m. on the westbound side of I-30 before Oakland Boulevard, which is just north of Oakland Lake Park.

Authorities haven’t yet disclosed the details of their preliminary investigation, so it’s unclear if anyone was hurt in the accident.

The crash closed the westbound side of I-30 at Bridge Street while police gathered evidence, and crews attended to the wreckage.

A full investigation is underway. Our team of news writers will circle back with updates if we learn more about the cause of the accident.
