Fatality reported in crash at I-20 WB and Dowdy Ferry Rd

DALLAS, TX – At least one person died in a collision along the interstate in southeast Dallas Wednesday morning, reports the Dallas Sheriff’s Office.

The incident happened on the westbound service road of I-20 at Dowdy Ferry Road, which is at the southeast corner of Trinity Forest Adventure Park.

Police haven’t yet disclosed the cause of the accident or the number of vehicles involved, nor have they released the name(s) of the victim(s).

Officials did not predict significant delays along the interstate because the accident occurred along the service road.

A full investigation is underway. Our team of bloggers will circle back with updates if and when we learn more about the circumstances of the collision.
