Charles Guyer, 52, killed in 2-car collision near Big Spring

BIG SPRING, TX – A 52-year-old man sustained fatal injuries Thursday in a two-vehicle crash along the highway in central Howard County, reports KBST News.

The accident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. near the intersection of the Old Colorado City Highway and TX-350. This is in the northwestern outskirts of Big Spring.

Police say that a northbound 2019 Ford F-250 struck a westbound 2010 Toyota when the driver of the latter vehicle failed to heed a stop sign at the intersection.

The unrestrained driver of the Toyota, identified as Charles Howard Guyer of Big Spring, died after transport to an area hospital.

The driver of the Ford did not sustain injuries in the wreck.

A full investigation is underway.
